Zack Snyder shares first look at Ben Affleck's Batman and Batmobile

Director Zack Snyder has teased the first shot of Ben Affleck as Batman.

The '300' director tweeted the image with the following caption: I shot this with my @Leica_Camera M Monochrom. #Batman #Batmobile #Gotham http://imgur.com/3hRU6px

While fans may be nonplussed about the director's shameless plug for Leica Cameras on the back of the comicbook hero, the dark, moody shot has reassured some fans who were concerned that Snyder would move too far away from Christopher Nolan's celebrated adult style and revert back to Joel Schumacher glossiness.

Affleck's Batman looks more ripped in the muscle department than Christian Bale's incarnation while the suit itself looks more like the classic rubber outfit rather than the modern kevlar version.

'Batman vs. Superman' (also starring Henry Cavill as Superman) looks set to bow on May 6th 2016 in the US.
